LLF Shirt Design
From March to August of 2015, I had the immense privilege of being the Event Coordinator for the Japan America Society of Minnesota (JASM). Every year JASM has a big part in helping with the Lantern Lighting Festival. It's an event held in Como Park that celebrates culture by inviting people to experience Japanese festival foods, games, and entertainment. It was my responsibility to not only lead a group of volunteers behind the Chopsticks Challenge booth, but design a shirt for the JASM team to wear. This shirt design depicts a red-crowned crane and a Minnesota loon swimming in the Como Park pond alongside water lanterns, highlighting the unity between Japan and Minnesota.
